ClearSpace saves its supervisors 12 hours a week on nightly routes
With 140 cleaners across 300 sites, ClearSpace’s supervisors spent their evenings covering sick calls. CrewControl made covering a shift a two-minute job.
The 9 p.m. phone call
Sick calls arrived just as shifts started. Supervisors called around until someone could cover, often driving to sites themselves.
What changed
Routes are built once in CrewControl. When a cleaner is marked out, CrewControl suggests who can take each site on their way, and the cleaner who accepts gets the site, its access codes and its checklist on their phone.
The result
Supervisors got 12 hours a week back, and clients now receive check-in and check-out times for every visit.
“Our clients used to ask whether we’d been in. Now we send them the check-ins before they ask.”
